Hello!!  My name is Maya!  I understand my very handsome brother, Oska, has been bragging on me.   He says I’m beautiful; my mom does too, so I must be.   If you haven’t seen Oska’s listing, check him out.  He’s my best bud.  And he has this fabulous blue eye like I do.  We were surrendered by our owner to the shelter; not sure why because we are so friendly and happy.  We just love to snuggle!

Anyway, here are my particulars.  I am approximately 7 months old, weigh 9 lbs, am a delightful hairless Chinese Crested/Dachshund mix (although there might actually be some Xoloitzcuintli mixed in there), blue-gray in color with a salt and pepper skunk-stripe mohawk, blond feet, and a wonderful black tail.  And I mentioned my fabulous blue eye, right?  I am up to date on my shots, healthy, and spayed.  I'm working on house training, and I do pretty well at walking on a leash.  I love people and love other dogs.  Cats are just fine if they want to play, but if they're going to hiss at me, I'll just go do something else.  I'm not sure about children; I don't think I've met one yet.  I’ll get back to you on that.  I would love to share the rest of my life with you (and my brother too!).   NOTE:  If you're looking for a matched pair, Oska and Maya would be great, but they do NOT have to be adopted together.  If you are interested in one or the other, please submit an application.
